Ella, Marilyn, Marlene and Me

Australian singer-actor Melissa “mischievous Minx” Western whirls through the glamorous and often tragic lives of three icons of the twentieth century in her wild, fairytale cabaret performance “Ella, Marilyn, Marlene and Me”.  Based on the life stories of three very different but equally influential figures in popular culture, Ella Fitzgerald, Marilyn Monroe and Marlene Dietrich, this obscenely glamorous show explores how these women and their lives influence, shape and perhaps even limit the hopes and the dreams of any other would be singer or actor with ambitions of “makin’ it in the big smoke”.
